FAQs
Is this a luxury or essential service?
Massage therapy is a helpful tool for many animals who suffer from different conditions: stiff joints and poor circulation from age, anxiety, an injury, and even soreness for athletic animals.
Can we do a meet & greet?
Absolutely! I would recommend this so you and I can go over your fur-baby’s history, your concerns, and a game plan to achieve your goals. It also allows your fur-baby to meet and smell me. All of this could take anywhere from 30 mins to an hour. A meet & greet is completely free too!
What happens during a therapy session?
You would express any new developments or concerns since our last session. Then your fur-baby and I would go to “our spot” for the massage. Preferably this spot would be a consistent place away from distractions (i.e. other animals, food cooking, groups of people talking). At the end of our massage session, you will receive a copy of the paperwork, which has notes and the massage strokes used.
How do I know if my pet needs a 30 minute or 60 minute session?
That is entirely up to your fur-baby. Some of my regulars will lay there enjoying the massage until the cows come home; others are wondering what everyone else is doing and look around a lot. I always tell parents to start with a 30 minute session and we can adjust from there.
Can I watch the massage session?
Sure thing! I’m more than happy to have you with us. Although, if your presence proves too distracting, I may ask that it be a more one-on-one session.
